Can you tow a scion with a motor home?

Like can you tow it behind a motor home?

You can tow any of the Scion models if they are equipped with a manual transmission. You can not tow an automatic. More information at http://www.motorhomemagazine.com/images/elements/1387927_08Dinghy_Roundup.pdf

yup, if pull it along, it also puts on miles as if you were driving it. put it on a dolly to avoid miles. also put a cardboard or something to that affect to protect your windshield.

Okay, so there are different Scion models so I’ll help with what I can….

    Towability –
It really depends on the transmission model in the Scion. If you get your transmission model, then contact REMCO at 800-228-2481, they will be able to tell you about the towability. More than likely you will need a Lube Pump to tow this flat. Those usually retail for about $995.00.

    Equipment –

    Tow Bar
Draw-Tite makes an affordable Tow Bar that’s adjustable. If you click here http://store.drawtite.com/63180.html you can view it.

    Baseplate
Many state laws require you to have a bracket attached to the frame of your vehicle. Roadmaster makes these brackets. If you click here http://www.roadmasterinc.com/vehicle_guide-04-02-2008/index.php and put in your year, make & model it will show you the baseplates available.

    Adapter
Because the tow bar and baseplate is made by two different manufacturers, you’ll need an adapter. You can view that here: http://roadmasterinc.com/products/adaptor_bars/adaptor_bars.html

There are also many options available for wiring. You can do something like this: http://store.drawtite.com/dt18148.html or you can hard wire it.

    Hope this helps!
