I have a Rialta motor home, and when I plug in my newdc tv in 12 volt no power comes on unless I use inver?

Inverter. Because of the digital transition, does my 12 volt receptacle need to be re wired? The inverter is one that goes into the cigarette lighter and there is a 110 plug on the end. Then it works fine. Help?

I have a similar set. It sounds like yours simply has a problem with its DC power supply. The digital transition had no impact on your set's power supply circuitry.

A more important question might be, is your set digital, or are you using a converter (which as far as I know, can only be powered by 110 vac in the U.S.)? Of course, that's secondary if your set won't even power up on 12 volts. Once it does, though, a TV antenna that regularly moves around presents some unique challenges to a digital TV receiver or converter.
