I need to find out if I can get insurence on a motorhome in my name with no drivers licecse,?

I am going to buy a motor home just to live in,but i dont have a drivers license, i live in los angeles. I know i can buy and get it regestered with no license but i need to get insurance on it becauce in ca. dmv requires it. it will only be moved about every 2 weeks just to empty the tanks, and fill the propane. and i have a person with a drivers license to drive it. is it hard to get insurance on it ?

The vehicle must be insured in the name of the registered owner. However, some insurance companies will exclude you as a driver and put your friend on the policy as the driver. Once the policy is written, any licensed driver can drive the vehicle. You may have to make a few calls to find an agent to handle it for you.

you can not get insurance with out a license.
depending on size of motorhome check and see if you need a special license to operate.
