new motor home for sale?
Filed under: motor homes for sale

I had a good friend pass away and his wife needs to sell their motor home. It has been garage kept is in excellent condition and only has 9,000 miles on it. It is located in the Chicago area, and I am sure you could buy it for a song

Take it to one of your local RV dealers and see if they will try to sell it for you…on consignment. Not all will want to do this, but some might.

The value of course is all depend on the make, model, floor plan and how well equipped. Your headline says it’s a new motorhome, but are you saying that it’s a 2009…or saying what the condition is like new.

An older vehicle with only 9,000 miles can have more service issues than the same vehicle with 50-60,000 miles. For example, a vehicle that has not been driven in years will have tires & brake lines with dry rot; can need all new belts, hoses, etc for the same reason; all kinds of junk on the fuel tank (water, rust, etc.); if it’s been stored but not winterized properly, then plumbing lines can be broken (and the toilet as well if it froze); then there can be issues with the generator;

All I’m trying to say is this, if you’re looking at buying this RV, just go over it carefully.
