What can be done to fight zoning laws that wont let a person live in a motor home in ther rural acreage?

Just doesnt make sense why a person cant live on his/her own private property in a motor home if the land is in a rural area and large enuff not even to be seen. My friends will be forced to move of there land if they cant afford to develop to code minimums. Cant they do something to fight this?

Ask for a variance for a certain length of time and then move and apply for another .
Most places require more than just a living space, running water and sanitation along with power .
Zoning is set up to control land use for all citizens

get an atty. and good luck. Most cities are unreasonable and have unfair laws. I work in the land consulting business in CA and I can tell you that people in the counties and cities are ONLY out to get money and give you stupid rules to get their dough. It’s a joke.
