Peggy pretty much said it all. Store all you want, you just can't drink & drive...or have open containers while on the road. Not to say, that when I've driving, there aren't people behind me some times having a drink...and if so, if drinking beer, it's never from the beer bottle (we have our standards, beer in cans not in our house or RV!)...it's always from a cup. No need to create a problem for anyone driving by.
References :
RVer and in the RV Rental business since 1981.

As far as I know, no states actually enforce that...unless you are a CDL truck driver ...then it is NO alcohol allowed even
unopened in the cab or sleeper part of the truck at any time.
As for an RV on the road...open container laws apply. Once parked, drink as much as you want, just do not drive while
under the influence.
