tim hortons pulls out of US event against gay marriage
it is a marriage day celebration.
pepsi, the home depot, frito lay have sponsored gay parades.
ikea, Volvo, IBM, Citigroup, Chase Home Finance, Prudential Financial, Mitchell Gold and Bob Williams Furniture, Olivia travel, Hotels.com, American Airlines, Washington Mutual support the gay rights movement openly.
Kodak, Subaru, Saab, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, the Hartford Insurance Company, Starbucks, Avis, Ben & Jerry’s, virtually every motion picture company, including the Walt Disney Company and Paramount, beer companies Budweiser, Miller, Coors and Molson promote the gay agenda.
but when a company wants to support a traditional marriage event (it is always labelled anti gay even if the event doesn’t spew hatred just celebrates traditional marriage) they are slandered by the media.
The organization running the event, the National Organization for Marriage was "Founded in 2007 in response to the growing need for an organized opposition to same-sex marriage in state legislatures."
That doesn’t sound like it merely celebrates traditional marriage. Gay parades don’t say that heterosexual couples shouldn’t be allowed to marry, but NOM DOES say that homosexual couples shouldn’t be allowed to marry. They even have talking points against gay marriage, to put on a 3×5 card.
Some people like it and some people don’t.. Like why do some people like the color "Blue" and others prefer "Red"?
Follow the money and they will change colors in a hurry.

Tim Hortons corporate identity is closely tied to Canada and all things Canadian. In Canada gay couples have the same marriage rights as straight couples. It made no sense for Tim Hortons to sponsor an event tied to NOM, an organization that exists only to work against marriage equality for gay couples. NOM’s stance also goes against Canadian law and against Tim Hortons corporate policy. They quickly recognized their mistake and immediately and appropriately withdrew support from this event.
